Sugey has worked as an editor, writer, and media professional for over 15 years. She’s currently the Senior Social Media Editor at Parents. Prior to that, Sugey managed a data-driven social media strategy and created engaging multi-media content as the Social Media and Engagement Manager for legacy brands including, What to Expect, Family Circle, and Parents Latina.
During her career, Sugey managed MTV Tr3s's music blog and worked as an Associate Editor for Latina magazine. She also produced trending social media and editorial content as a Staff Writer for the bilingual parenting site, MamásLatinas. Her writings have been featured in Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, The Spruce, and more.
As a newish mom of two, she's inspired by the paradoxical journey of motherhood and its transformative experience. She’s a proud Peloton rider and Brooklynite.
